What Is the Canadian Dental Care Plan?

Good news: BluSky Dental is a participating provider in the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). If you're eligible for this federal program, we can provide covered dental services and bill the plan directly—making dental care more accessible and affordable.

The CDCP is a federal government program designed to help Canadians access dental care. It provides coverage for eligible residents who:

  • Don't have access to dental insurance
  • Have a household income below certain thresholds
  • Are Canadian residents

The program is being rolled out in phases, with seniors and other priority groups gaining access first.
